A DAY IN THE LIFE

"I no fit reason am"
"E go kpa me o"

Oh Happy day oooo.
Let's just say this is a written VLOG. As I no get YouTube channel and I wan drop update of wetin my eyes see🥲🥲. No be small thing, I went through some random situations yesterday but one thing made my day; I saw a poster of Baba 'Èmi lo kan' , I don't know if the person that made the poster just wanted to do Jagaban dirty or he was sincerely ignorant. Whichever one happened, the poster person made a little girl happy yesterday. "Oluremi Bola Tinubu" it's either you're thinking what I was thinking yesterday or you don't understand my joke🤣🤣; the old man now bears his wife's name ooo🙂.

Long before this old man's name switch, my parents and I set out on a journey to the center of the earth only that this journey almost no wan get sense. "Let's go to Kaduna" they said, "Can I stay back with my brothers and come with them when they are coming?" I asked, Daddy said "No, go for the throat". That's how they dragged me to Kaduna ooo. You might want to ask "Adétólá, what is carrying your two left legs to Kaduna?" Well, my big old man is A full time pastor and according to church policy, these men and women of God can be transferred to anywhere in the world and by God's grace my pops was transferred to Kaduna, yay!!!☺. Don't ask me where we were before 😛.

So, we started our journey from Mararaba in Nasarawa state, its quite close to Abuja so don't think I was living in a village before because I know you 🥴.
As we enter Abuja and the journey just dey hot 🔥,  your girl don sleep go; no ask me why I dey sleep, just know say e be things.
That's how I heard loud noises beside me, Baba Afuye was shouting 'Jesus ' and it definitely was worth it because our car tyre had flown to the other side of the road while the car was in motion, some scary shit right? In the middle of the express with cars going left and right. Our two Pastor escorts; one was driving and the other was in the passenger's seat now started doing Gulder ultimate search for the trye bolts after we managed to find the tyre. The whole repair process took about 45 minutes to an hour,  na so I stand for road like say I wan do Bambiala, no even laugh me yet. They fixed it fortunately but bolts were already lost so they had to remove from the remaining tyres to give some balance; the shocking thing was before we left home that morning, the mechanic had come to tighten the tyre bolts but it was the same tyre he tightened the bolts that decided to fò yọ because I didn't understand. After the fixing, we continued our journey but before we could pick up speed another tyre decided to dance and bounce away from the car, it almost dragged the bumper along with it but the bumper didn't give into peer pressure😉. We spent an extra hour there again, calls were made and my dad's friend sent his driver to pick us while they bought new bolts for the tyres.

Sitting comfortably inside the other car, we continued our journey but then we weren't going to Kaduna straight,  let's take a stop at Suleja. My big sister gave birth to a baby boy a week ago and we were going to pay her and the baby a visit. Her house just had to be inside inside Suleja for no reason; we spent another hour manoeuvring through corners to get to her house; BTW, her house was pretty, so my tiredness disappeared for awhile. I saw her younger brother who was my childhood friend after about 12 years, it felt nice but then his overdo wan dey too much; I just tried to keep our conversations minimal, make pesin no go think say I wan follow am talk.  We stayed into the night because it was already too late to continue our journey to Kaduna and it wouldn't be easy to come see her again once we leave for Kaduna. Her baby was so pretty; it's been a long time since I saw a new born so seeing him yesterday filled my heart with warmth and I was so happy 😊.

Time just no wan wait for us; we had to leave their pretty house🥲 and find one hotel to sleep so we could continue our journey the next day. They gave us food and my sister gave me chocolates and popcorn;  èmi baby girl for life.
That's how we ended up in one City kini kan kini kan hotel; not crappy to say the least. I couldn't sleep well as cold wan finish me but I made it out alive😁😁.

Now I'm writing in the comfort of one chair in Hotel 7teen in Kaduna; yes I reached safely.🤭🤭

I've been having a block due to something personal that happened to me but I promise you that I'll be back on my feet soon.
Thank you for reading once again
